Had a great time on a ladies charter with captain John and his crew. They were all very knowledgeable and helpful to us. We all took home some large salmon and were able to enjoy a beautiful sunrise and calm day on Lake Michigan.

John is knowledgeable and provides a fun and great environment for success! I cannot recommend John enough as he took great care of my group on our trip and got us on the fish!!!

The guys have a good sense of humor and are very knowledgeable. Both clearly experienced with the waters and have good stories. Definitely would recommend them if youre looking for a fun charter on lake michigan.

Amazing experience with Captain John and Roy. First time fishing for me and my family. I was a little afraid our 2 teenagers (13 and 17) would find the 5 hour trip a little long but not at all. They have enjoyed every bit of it! We fished plenty of delicious lake trouts. We had a fish fry once back at home and trouts were mild but flavorful. The weather was gorgeous but I am sure that Captain John and Roy will offer you a trip-to-remember whatever the weather. Don’t miss out on this experience!

I decided to take my 15 yr old grandson out on a fishing expedition so he’d get a break from football. I looked on line and happened to click on the Michigan Sport Fishing Co. site. Liked what I saw, called and had a pleasant and informative chat with Captain John. The name of the vessel kinda caught my eye…”TunaTime”…the reason being, my son-in-law is named Charlie…when I was first introduced to him, I immediately nicknamed him “Tuna” for the Starkist Tuna Charlie…My daughter didn’t follow the commercial line and say “Sorry Charlie”…She said yes!!…Lol…So anyway, I tell my daughter that Chase can bring a friend or two and told her the date…The date I chose, by chance was on Tuna’s Bday…With the name of the boat and the date being a special day, My daughter felt the karma and didn’t give Chase a choice…Momma and Daddy feel lucky weez goin fishin wichya!!…Well I gotta tell ya, they made the right play!! The trip was nothing but fun at a first class level. Captain John and First Rate Mate Roy exuded nothing but professionalism and knowledge. The trip was planned and executed with punctual perfection. When the fish were ready to feed by the dim light of dawn, the boat was in place and lines were already in the water. Weather conditions dictated a splurge up river a week or so before we arrived. I was concerned it would be a slow day due to exit up river and mid level wind. The ability of the Captain and Mate to read weather and water temp conditions, along with an intimate knowledge of the area led us to fish as soon the diner turned it’s lights on!…50 odd years ago when I was a preteen, I was fishing in a dingy with my older brother in the Dells. The first “big” fish I hooked broke my line and in turn broke my fishing spirit apparently and I took up huntin!!…After this charter experience my urge to open up a new world (and hobby) is building strength!…But as I told Captain John, I don’t have the time to get the proper 40 year seasoning to be the captain, so when the urge gets overwhelming, I’m calling for TunaTime!!..Thx for a great time John & Roy…Two thumbs up along with both big toes!!
